This project developed spatial silviculture strategies aimed to mitigate mountain pine beetle (MPB) impacts. The strategies included various planting, pre-commerical thinning, and fertilization regimes that would increase timber supply while mitigating future MPB impacts. Scenarios included relaxing forest cover constraints, alterative land base strategies, and implementation of silviculture strategies under different budgetary constraints. Included with the analysis was the presentation of results to various stakeholder groups.
