Edward has a background in information technology and forest management and operations. His experience encompasses forest resource planning, forest operations, data modeling, systems and database development, programming, and web development.
As a systems analyst at Cortex, Edward's recent projects have included financial systems, contract monitoring, and website support to multi-stakeholder processes such as the Forest Science Board and Forest Genetics Council and GIS analysis of Spotted Owl habitat, Vancouver Island ecological representation, and the Haida Gwaii/ Queen Charlotte Islands draft land-use plan.
